Motion Studio Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-10-19
These terms are an agreement between you and Muhammed Asbah Riyas, trading as AiFireLab ("we", "us"), for the Motion Studio application ("the software"). By buying, downloading, installing or using the software you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the software.
1. What the software is
Motion Studio is a Mac application that makes short motion pieces and footage edits as code and renders them on your own Mac. It works with Claude Code, Anthropic's command-line tool, which you install and sign in to with your own Claude account. Every piece is made by Claude Code under your account, on your Mac. The software never sees, stores or passes on your Claude login: signing in happens in Claude Code's own window, and the software only asks Claude Code afterwards whether you are signed in.
Motion Studio is an independent product. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, Apple, OpenAI, Google or any other company named in these terms.
2. What you need, and what you pay for separately
- A Mac with macOS 14 or later.
- Claude Code and a Claude plan from Anthropic, under Anthropic's own terms. Using Claude Code through the software counts against your plan's usage, and Anthropic's limits apply. We do not resell, meter or bill Claude usage, and we cannot raise your limits.
- Google Chrome, ffmpeg and a few other free tools, which the software's Setup page installs on your Mac from their own publishers.
- Optional paid services you may add with your own API keys: OpenAI, Google, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, fal, MiniMax, Apify and Pixabay. Each bills you directly under its own terms. Image, voice, video and presenter generation show a price first and run only when you confirm. Small calls, such as Gemini reading a reference video or checking a draft, cost about a cent each and run as part of the step that needs them.
3. Your licence
When you buy Motion Studio you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on the Macs you personally use. One purchase is for one person; a team needs one purchase per person.
The software asks for a licence key, which we send you when you buy. A key works on up to two Macs at a time; the Setup page shows which Macs use it and lets you remove one. Keep your key to yourself. We may turn a key off if these terms are broken, and a key that is turned off stops the software from making new pieces.
You may:
- make as many pieces as you like and use them for any purpose, commercial work included;
- change the styles, the engine and the tools for your own use (it is readable code);
- keep using the version you have for as long as you like.
You may not:
- give, sell, rent, sublicense or publish the software, its disk image or any part of it to anyone else;
- remove the licence notices in it;
- use it to break the law or anyone's rights.
4. Updates
The desk tells you when a newer version is out and installs it when you choose; you can also download the new disk image from our website and open it. Either way your own pieces, library and settings stay. Updates are included for as long as the software is sold. We are not obliged to release updates. A future version of Claude Code or macOS may need an update from us before the software works again.
5. What is yours and what is ours
The pieces, scripts, images, sounds and videos you make with the software are yours, subject to the terms of the services that generated them (for example OpenAI's and Google's terms for generated images, ElevenLabs' for voices).
The software's code, styles, documentation and design are ours or our licensors'. Third-party parts keep their own licences, which are included with the software: Node.js (MIT), parts of the engine adapted from huashu-art-motion (MIT) and HyperFrames (Apache 2.0), opus-sound-layer (MIT), and the library's sound recordings, each with its licence recorded beside it. Tools the Setup page installs (Claude Code, Homebrew, ffmpeg, uv, whisper.cpp, the Whisper model, Google Chrome) and tools installed when first needed (Demucs, ClearerVoice, yt-dlp) come from their publishers under their own licences.
6. Your responsibilities
- What you make and publish is your responsibility: its accuracy, its rights and its disclosures. The software can clip sound and footage from links and files; use only material you have the right to use. Generated voices, faces and footage are AI-generated; say so where the law or the platform requires it.
- Keep your Claude login and your API keys to yourself. Keys you add are stored in your Mac's Keychain.
- Spending on paid services is yours. The software's estimates are estimates; check each service's prices.
- Follow Anthropic's usage policies when you use Claude Code through the software.
7. Refunds
If the software does not run on a Mac that meets the requirements in section 2, and the Setup page and our support cannot get it running within 14 days of your purchase, we refund the purchase in full. Because the product is a download with no copy protection, there are no other refunds.
8. Support
Support is by email at support@aifirelab.com. We answer as soon as we can, usually within a few days, with no guaranteed response time.
9. No warranty
The software is provided as is. We do not promise that it is free of errors, that it suits your purpose, or that the services it depends on will stay available or keep their prices. Output made by AI models can be wrong.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from the software is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data or amounts charged by third-party services.
11. Ending the agreement
If you break these terms, your licence ends and you must delete the software. You may end the agreement at any time by deleting the software. Sections 5, 9 and 10 continue to apply.
12. Changes
We may change these terms for future versions. The terms that apply to you are the ones published with the version you bought. The current terms are at https://studio.aifirelab.com/terms.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes go to the courts of Riyadh.
